    45000 INDIAN WELLS LANE
    INDIAN WELLS

Located inside the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort overlooking the gorgeous olive tree grove, this eatery (which also made my breakfast list!) is glamorous, entirely affordable (surprising considering it is a hotel restaurant), and utterly delicious. The island-inspired menu, which features dishes sourced from ingredients grown right on the hotel grounds, includes a wide array of offerings for those with dietary restrictions. The Spaghetti Squash with veggies and pistachio gremolata is a personal favorite. Oh, and the drinks are stellar, too!

Musashi Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar

    72-785 HIGHWAY 111, SUITE B4
    PALM DESERT

In the desert and craving sushi? This is the spot I’d head. Originally opened in 1996, Musashi is a beloved landmark to locals in the know, long renowned for serving exquisite rolls crafted with the freshest of fish in an elegant setting at moderate prices. Not a fan of sushi? The eatery also offers plenty of additional Japanese fare, including chicken katsu, shrimp tempura and yakisoba. Housed in a more intimate space and insanely popular, reservations are highly recommended.

    3700 EAST VISTA CHINO
    PALM SPRINGS

Even though this intimate restaurant is primarily referred to as a “hidden gem,” lines to get in stretch well past the front door most nights. One cocktail in, and you’ll know why. Paul Bar/Food is one of the city’s best spots – the kind that locals beg people like me not to mention on websites like this for fear of those nightly lines growing even longer. But the joint is certainly worth the wait, thanks to its meals, libations, atmosphere and service, which are some of the best you’ll find in the entire Valley.

    The Vintage Coffee House

    49990 JEFFERSTON STREET
    INDIO

A strip mall with a grocery store as its anchor tenant may seem an unlikely place to find some of the best java in the Coachella Valley, but that is most definitely the case with The Vintage Coffee House. Known for being one of the only sites in the area with bulletproof coffee on the menu, all of the offerings are, in fact, fabulous. The café is adorable to boot, and the service is stellar! Even Sylvester Stallone and Justin Bieber are fans! Vintage is also situated in extremely close proximity to the Coachella concert grounds, so if you are in town for any of the festivals, this is the spot to grab your daily joe!

This new café also secured a spot in my breakfast section above, as its morning (and lunch!) eats are stellar. But the coffee offerings are just as divine. In fact, this is my preferred Palm Desert pit stop for lattes and other espresso specialties. Serving up frothy delicacies in an utterly adorable environment accented in blush tones, you can’t go wrong with a coffee from Wonder!
